Jammu. Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit has strongly reacted to the fake registration in Shri Amarnath Yatra, urged for strict legal action against the accused, and blamed the Government and Amarnath Shrine Board for the recalcitrant attitude towards registration recovery.
In a press conference held at the party state office here today, state chief Manish Sahni said that fraudsters have been attracted by the huge collection in the name of registration on a religious pilgrimage.
While Shiv Sena is continuously raising the demand to make registration free, the government is adopting its stubborn attitude, Rs 220/- is being collected from the passengers for online registration. As a result of which extra burden has been put on the devotees who come to have Bole Baba darshan, the fraudsters have also become active. Registrations of around 400 pilgrims were found to be fake on the first day of the Amarnath Yatra. Sahni appealed to the devotees to register through the website of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board itself. Sahni has reiterated the demand of the police department to take strict legal action against the fraudsters and to allow the devotees who are victims of this to have darshan of Bhole Baba by registering them immediately and to make the registration completely free.
On this occasion President Mahila wing Meenakshi Chibber, Gen Gen Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, President Kamghar Wing Raj Singh, and Mangu Ram were present.
