PM Modi gave representation to all sections of society: Ravinder Raina

Jammu, 01-04-2024 : In an impressive function held at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar Jammu, Haji Mohd Yusuf Majnu, President All Jammu and Kashmir Gujjar Bakerwal Conference joined BJP along with hundreds of his supporters from all the areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

Ravinder Raina, President, J&K BJP, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), MP (Rajya Sabha) Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, former Minister Abdul Ghani Kohli, former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia and other senior party functionaries welcomed Haji and his supporters into the party fold.

Ravinder Raina, welcoming him into the party fold, said that Gujjars and Bakerwals were deprived of their political rights and there was no political representation for them in Jammu and Kashmir before 370. He said that it is the BJP government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi who took bold decision of abrogating it which paved the way for giving representation to all sections of society. He further said that these communities were be fooled by NC and Congress since independence on the name of region and religion.

Raina said that the policies of the Modi govt has increased the faith of these communities into the political system and they are joining BJP because they know that Prime Minister Modi has the vision of taking the country to new heights of development. He further said that after the abrogation of 370 new chapters of development has been written and Jammu and Kashmir is marching on the path of development on the lines of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” and added that PM Modi has initiated plethora of schemes to benefit the poor and the needy and mentioned the cylinders under Ujjawala, five Marla plots, houses under PM Awas Yojana etc.

Raina said that people of Jammu & Kashmir have strong belief on the policies of BJP and they strongly believe that it is Prime Minister Modi who has brought peace and development into Jammu and Kashmir.

Ashok Koul welcomed the new entrants into the party and ensured that they make their joining complete through online mode. He expressed faith that the new entrants under the leadership of Haji Mohd Yusuf Majnu, will work dedicatedly following the party line and that the BJP will be strengthened in Ramban, Anantnag, Shopian and adjoining areas by the joining of Haji Yusuf.

Ghulam Ali Khatana, who facilitated the joining, said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have realized that development of Jammu and Kashmir is only possible under the rule of BJP because it serves the Nation and Society with the zeal of taking the country to new heights and it is the Prime Minister Modi who has the vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.

Abdul Ghani Kohli also welcomed the new entrants into BJP and said that he is happy that Gujjar and Bakerwal communities is on the path of development which was not possible in the regime of NC, Congress and PDP. He said that the majority of the people from Gujjar and Bakerwal community are joining BJP because the policies of Modi Govt have brought a sea change into their lives.

Haji Mohd Yusuf Majnu said that Gujjars and Bakerwals are true nationalists and patriotic community and they will work hand to hand in the coming elections for the victory of BJP and added that they will leave no stone unturned to defeat the dividing forces into the state and will strengthen the hands of Narender Modi who is a ‘Masiha’ of peace.
