PM Modi Pays Tribute to Indira Gandhi on Her Birth Anniversary
Prime Minister honors the legacy of India’s first woman PM on her 106th birth anniversary
New Delhi, Nov 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary.
“Tributes to former PM Smt. Indira Gandhi Ji on the occasion of her birth anniversary,” Modi wrote in a post on X.
Born on November 19, 1917, Indira Gandhi served as India’s Prime Minister from 1966 to 1977 and again from 1980 until her assassination on October 31, 1984. She remains India’s first and only woman Prime Minister, remembered for her strong leadership and political legacy.
