Police Seek Public Help to Identify Motorcyclist in Hit and Run Case
Authorities release photo of suspect after pedestrian dies in Tailbal Adda accident.
Srinagar, Nov 20: Srinagar Police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying a motorcyclist involved in a fatal hit and run incident at Tailbal Adda.
According to a statement from Police Station Nigeen, the incident occurred when an unknown motorcyclist, driving recklessly, struck pedestrian Ab. Rashid Gojri, son of Ab. Rehman Gojri of Kangan. The rider fled the scene immediately after the collision. The injured pedestrian was rushed to SKIMS Soura for medical treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
During the investigation, CCTV footage from the area was reviewed, and a photograph of the suspected motorcyclist has been obtained. Authorities are urging members of the public to help identify the individual.
