Raveena Tandon receives Padma Shri from President Murmu

05-04-2023 : Actress Raveena Tandon receives Padma Shri award from President Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan ceremony attended by PM Modi and Amit Shah. Tandon expressed gratitude for being recognized for her contribution to Indian cinema and the arts. She emerged as a leading actress in Bollywood with hit movies like ‘Mohra’, ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’, and ‘Shool’. Tandon’s performance in the blockbuster ‘KGF 2’ was also praised.

The Padma Awards, announced by the government in January, included categories like art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, and civil service. Raveena Tandon will be next seen in the romantic-comedy ‘Ghudchadi’ alongside Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthan, and Khushali Kumar.
