NEW DELHI: In today’s episode of Zoom call going viral, a clip of a video call of Shweta has taken the Indian internet by a storm. It’s where she forgets to mute herself. While 2020 immortalized Binod, 2021 might belong to Shweta. From jokes to memes and spoof videos, Indian internet is buzzing with her name. Shweta has trended so much that it trended ahead of even #IPLAuction or #PetrolPriceHike on Twitter, becoming the top trend on Indian Twitter with hundreds and thousands of tweets.
The reason Shweta is trending everywhere on Indian socials is due to a leaked Zoom call of an online class where a girl named Shweta forgot to mute her mic. While that is one faux pas all of us have committed in the course of last year when Zoom calls became a thing, it was her private discussion with a friend that went viral and got people’s attention online. In the clip going viral, the girl continues to share the private details of a boy, who had asked her to keep it a secret. Fellow students try to warn her that her mic is on, but in vain.
According to reports, Shweta is heard revealing to her friend that the boy did not even reveal a certain secret to his best friend, to which a fellow student who is obviously listening in on the call exclaim that now 111 people from the class have heard it
The audio clip of the Zoom call triggered a hilarious meme-fest online. On Indian Twitter, users started to share memes to poke fun at the girl’s blunder, adding that there is always a Shweta in every Zoom call who unwittingly gives out all secrets.
