Reiterates BJP Govt's unwavering commitment to national security, eradication of terrorism
JAMMU,19-07-2024 : Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has called upon security forces for decisive measures to combat terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir by targeting those who sympathize with and support terror activities.
In a statement issued here today, the senior BJP leader emphasized the need to book individuals and organizations that back terrorism under the Enemy Agents Act, thus strengthening the state’s fight against insurgency.
He reiterated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s steadfast commitment to national security and the eradication of terrorism from the region. He underlined that the BJP government is resolute in its mission to ensure peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir through rigorous and sustained efforts.
The senior BJP leader highlighted the recruitment drive in the J&K Police Department, which aims to fill over 4,000 vacancies. He believes this significant boost in police personnel will enhance the capability of law enforcement agencies to address and mitigate the threat of terrorism more effectively. “The recruitment of additional officers will not only improve our response times but will also strengthen our intelligence network, helping to lower the terrorism graph in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
The senior BJP leader called on all stakeholders to support the government’s initiatives and contribute to the collective effort in making Jammu and Kashmir a secure and peaceful region. He urged citizens to cooperate with authorities and remain vigilant to support the broader fight against terrorism.
