Telangana: Several injured as bus collides with truck in Rangareddy district

Rangareddy (Telangana), November 3: Several people were injured after a TSRTC bus collided with a truck near Khanapur Gate under the Chevella police station limits in Rangareddy district during the early hours of Monday, officials said.
Confirming the incident, Chevella Police stated,
“A road accident occurred between a TGSRTC bus and a truck near Khanapur Gate, under the Chevella police station limits in Rangareddy district. Several passengers are injured, and more details are yet to be known. We reached the spot, and further information will be provided soon.”
According to preliminary information, the collision took place when a tipper truck coming from the wrong side rammed into the TSRTC bus, resulting in multiple injuries among the passengers.
Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar expressed deep shock and grief over the mishap. He spoke to TSRTC Managing Director Nagi Reddy and the Rangareddy District Collector, directing them to take all necessary measures to ensure quality medical treatment for the injured.
The minister also instructed TSRTC officials to reach the accident site immediately and assist in relief operations.
Police and emergency teams rushed to the spot, and the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
