Emphasizes need for unity & peace for harmonious growth of society
JAMMU, July 30: Senior AAP leader and DDC Member Taranjit Singh Tony today called for putting united efforts for the harmonious growth of society, while promoting peace and tranquility.
Accompanied by Corporator Dwarka Choudhary, Master Aslam Choudhary, Molvi of Digiana Masjid and prominent people of the area were present, Tony joined members of the Muslim community during the refreshment stall set up for Ashura mourners and general public at Digiana area in Jammu city.
During the event, Tony paid homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions, who sacrificed their lives in upholding the principles of truth and uprightness. He highlighted the crucial need to strengthen bonds of unity, amity, and brotherhood, proclaiming that these values have always been the cornerstone of Indian ethos.
Tony emphasized that the spiritual land of India has been a beacon of humanity since time immemorial, guiding individuals towards peace, prosperity, and spiritual bliss. He appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to spread the message of love, peace, and compassion, as these values are imperative for promoting inclusiveness across the country, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.
Furthermore, the senior AAP leader highlighted the importance of social justice and equality in society. He expressed hope that everyone would contribute towards the growth of society based on these principles.
Tony urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to come together and work towards a society where harmony, peace, and compassion prevail. He urged them to embrace the values of love and inclusiveness, which he believes are essential for the progress and prosperity of the region.
