Tourism Directorate hosts Weekend Musical Evening at Bahu Gandola Station

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 26: To promote Tourism in general and recently opened 1st Phase of Cable Car in particular, Department of Tourism today organized weekend Musical evening here at Bahu, Ropeway Station.

The series of musical evenings will continue in the coming weeks till March 31st, 2021. During the function, a large number of the public gathered at Bahu Ropeway Station and were mesmerized by the folklore performances of the Jammu Division.

The cultural programs were performed by the artists of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages. Tourists from various states enjoyed the Cable Car ride and got acquainted with the local Dogra, culture.

With each passing day, the popularity of Cable Car and nearby pilgrim spots are catching the attention of visitors.

The function was attended by Umesh Shan, ADT, NHW Batote, and Rahul Mahajan, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Tourism Jammu among other officers and officials of Tourism Department, Cultural Academy, and Cable Car Corporation.
