Virendra Jain Elected AOI Gangyal President as New Team Takes Charge Unopposed for 2026–28
AOI Gangyal Gets New Leadership Team of Six Members to Represent Jammu’s Industrial Community
Jammu, 14-09-2026: The Election Committee of the Association of Industries (Regd.), Gangyal, Jammu, today declared the results of the election for the office bearers of the Association for the tenure 2026–28.
The election process was undertaken in accordance with the Election Programme notified by the Election Committee. The prescribed process of filing and scrutiny of nomination forms was completed, with the scrutiny of nominations conducted on September 12, 2026. Following scrutiny, the nomination forms submitted by the candidates were found to be in order.
The prescribed period for withdrawal of nominations expired today, September 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM. No candidate withdrew his nomination during the stipulated period. Consequently, as there was only one candidate for each of the six posts, no contest remained for any post.
Accordingly, the Election Committee declared the following candidates elected unopposed for the tenure 2026–28:

- Sr. Vice President Sh. Ashok Kumar Jain M/S Amit Joinery
- Vice President Sh. Ajay Kumar Mahajan M/S Sports Syndicates
- General Secretary Sh. Sanjay Langar M/S Chaman Food Industries
- Secretary Sh. Jatinder Singh M/S K.S. Engineering Works
- Treasurer Sh. Vishal Gupta M/S Master Paints
Accordingly, there being no contest for any of the above posts, no poll is required to be held on the scheduled date of 26th September, 2026.
The Election Committee, headed by the Convener Anil Gupta along with the other members Messrs. Ganesh Koul, Ajit Kumar Khajuria, Rajinder Jain and Vikram Gupta completed the election-related
formalities in accordance with the notified schedule and maintained the prescribed procedure at every stage of the nomination process.
The Election Committee congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed confidence that the new team would work with unity, dedication and a collective approach for the welfare and interests of the industrial community of Gangyal and Jammu Region. The Committee further hoped that the elected team would continue to strengthen the Association as a representative platform for addressing the genuine concerns of its members and promoting the growth and development of the industrial sector.
