Warm farewell accorded to retiring Scientists, Professors of SKUAST-Jammu

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 28: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu today accorded a warm farewell to the retiring Officers, Scientists, and Professors at a function held here at Baba Jitto Auditorium at SKUAST-J Chatha.

Prof J P Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

 During the function, Prof D P Abrol, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Fellow National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) and India and Royal Entomological Society London, UK, Dr. M M S Zama, Professor, Division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology and Ex- Dean Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Dr. Raman Tagar, Professor and Head, Division of Genetics and Breeding FVSc & AH, R S Pura and Dr. Virender Singh Wazir, Professor, Division of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-J R S Pura were felicitated for contribution in their respective fields. The function was also attended by Dr. Jag Paul Director Research and Registrar, Dr. S K Gupta, Director Extension, Dr. S K Gupta, Director Education, Deans of all the three faculties namely Agriculture, FVSc & AH and Basic Sciences, Dean Student Welfare, Estates officer, Heads of the Division, Research Stations, Mega Seed Projects, Sr Scientist and Heads of KVK’s, Teaching faculty, non-teaching staff and students of SKUAST-J.
