Despite receiving mixed critical reviews, the comedy entertainer has continued to draw audiences to cinemas, registering strong collections both in India and overseas.
According to trade estimates, the film collected Rs 9.25 crore nett in India on its fifth day, taking its cumulative domestic nett earnings to Rs 81.50 crore. The film’s India gross collection now stands at Rs 97.17 crore, reflecting consistent audience interest during its opening week.

Combined with its domestic earnings, the film’s worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 120.12 crore, establishing a new benchmark for the franchise.
With this achievement, Welcome To The Jungle has surpassed the lifetime worldwide gross of the first Welcome, which earned Rs 117.91 crore globally during its complete theatrical run in 2007. The original comedy had collected Rs 70.15 crore nett in India, making the latest installment the highest-grossing film in the franchise within its opening week.
The film has maintained a steady upward trajectory since its release. It began with paid previews on Thursday, earning Rs 3.75 crore nett before recording a strong official opening on Friday with Rs 15.25 crore. Collections continued to rise over the weekend as family audiences turned out in large numbers.
Saturday witnessed a substantial jump, with the film collecting Rs 20 crore nett, while Sunday emerged as the biggest day so far, contributing Rs 24.75 crore nett to the overall total. Even after the weekend, the comedy maintained stable collections, earning Rs 8.50 crore on Monday before improving slightly to Rs 9.25 crore on Tuesday, indicating positive audience retention.
The performance suggests that the film has managed to sustain momentum beyond the initial weekend, an encouraging sign for its long-term theatrical prospects. Trade analysts believe the franchise’s popularity, star studded cast, and family-friendly entertainment have helped attract audiences despite divided critical opinion.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle serves as the third installment in the successful Welcome franchise. The story revolves around gangsters, criminals, and eccentric characters whose paths intersect inside a dense jungle near the international border. What initially appears to be a routine operation resembling a film shoot gradually transforms into a series of chaotic adventures involving action, comedy, mistaken identities, and unexpected twists.
Released in cinemas on June 26, 2026, the film boasts one of the largest ensemble casts seen in a Bollywood comedy. The combination of slapstick humour, action sequences, and nostalgic references to earlier installments has appealed to franchise fans, contributing to its healthy box office performance.
Although critics have expressed mixed opinions regarding the screenplay and storytelling, audiences have continued to support the film during its opening week. Industry observers note that strong family footfalls and positive word-of-mouth in several regions have helped the film maintain stable occupancy levels across multiplexes and single-screen theatres.
With its worldwide collection already crossing the Rs 120 crore mark in only five days, Welcome To The Jungle has established itself as one of the notable commercial successes of 2026. The coming weekend will now be crucial in determining whether the film can continue its strong theatrical run and emerge as one of the year’s highest-grossing Hindi films.
If the current trend continues, trade experts expect the comedy entertainer to add substantially to its collections in the coming days, further extending its lead over the original Welcome and strengthening the franchise’s box office legacy.
