Welspun Corp Bags ₹4,000 Crore US Order, Order Book Hits Record High
The company’s US subsidiary has secured its largest-ever HFIW pipe contract, taking Welspun Corp’s global order book to around ₹45,000 crore.
Mumbai, Sep 25 : Welspun Corp is in focus after its US subsidiary, Welspun Tubular LLC, secured its largest-ever order for high frequency induction welded (HFIW) pipes, valued at about $412.5 million, or nearly ₹4,000 crore. The contract is expected to be executed during financial years 2028 and 2029.
The pipes will be manufactured at the company’s upgraded facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. The latest contract has pushed Welspun Corp’s global order book to a record $4.7 billion, equivalent to around ₹45,000 crore.
The order strengthens the company’s position in the US market, where demand for large scale energy infrastructure continues to generate opportunities for pipe manufacturers. Welspun Tubular’s new contract also adds significantly to the group’s future revenue pipeline.
The company’s expanded manufacturing capacity in the United States is expected to support execution of the contract. The investment in the facility allows Welspun Tubular to cater to large orders while maintaining its presence in the North American market.
The latest development comes as infrastructure and energy companies continue to secure long-term contracts linked to pipeline and energy projects. For Welspun Corp, the sizeable US order adds further visibility to its international business and overall project backlog.
