"BJY Bound To End Hate Politics of BJP" - Youth Congress
05-01-2023 : Youth Congress on Thursday held a Preparatory Meeting for the Bharat Jodo Yatra chaired by Jagdev Gagga IYC General Secretary and Uday Bhanu Chib JKPYC President. The Youth Congress leaders reviewed on-ground preparations for the yatra and had a detailed discussion on the arrangements to be made. The yatra will arrive in Jammu Kashmir this month and is scheduled to spend 8 days in the UT.
Speaking at the meeting, IYC General Secretary Jadgev Gagga directed the youth members with their assigned roles and responsibilities. He appealed to present members to carry out their responsibilities, ensure smooth execution of their roles and keep up the enthusiasm for arrival of Sh. Rahul Gandhi Ji’s yatra. He said that the yatra has developed a hope amongst the people and it can bring the system back on the track and ensure that hate politics and wrong policies adopted by the BJP for the sake of power can be ended. The yatra is bound to recreate an atmosphere of love and harmony in the J&K as it has done across the nation, he added.
Speaking during the meeting, Uday Bhanu Chib said that Youth Congress has geared up for Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra—which will enter the state in 3rd week of January– as an important meeting of party leaders was held to prepare for the yatra. Congress is the only party which can work in the interest of the country and the state. The historic work done by the party is a legacy the party still carries. Bharat Jodo reflects the same spirit of sacrifice and unity. They stated that Mr. Gandhi was taking up the ‘padayatra’ for about 3,500 km to awaken the youth to protect the country’s unity in the wake of attempts being made to bring differences within the society. The youth members are eager to join this historic padyatra and become a part of this movement, they said.
Amit Pathania, IYC Secretary said that each member of the Youth Congress is excited for the upcoming yatra and they are leaving no stone unturned for its preparation. A careful deliberation of each segment of the Yatra as it will pass through J&K has been undertaken to ensure a smooth Yatra for the Yatris who will be joining he said.
