Youth Congress Prepares for the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu
JK Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib Visits Kathua, Samba & Other Districts to Review Preparations for Bharat Jodo Yatra
07-12-2022 : Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib along with IYC InCharge J&K Navneet Kaur, IYC Secretary Incharge J&K Amit Pathania, IYC Jt. Secretary Manpreet Singh, PYC General Secretary Divyansh Jamwal and Anirudh Sawhney on Wednesday visited various districts to prepare for the Bharat Jodo Yatra which will reach in Jammu soon. The Youth Congress leaders toured districts Samba, Hari Nagar, Vijaypur, Kathua and surrounding areas where the Bharat Jodo rally will pass through. The visit was to review preparations for party leader Rahul Gandhi’s arrival to undertake the march in the UT.
Speaking on the matter, PYC President Uday Bhanu Chib stated that the Bharat Jodo Yatra is the most prominent upcoming event and all members are looking forward to becoming a part of this historic movement. The preparations are going in full swing to welcome Rahul Gandhi Ji’s rally. Many details around planning and implementation regarding the padayatra are being undertaken daily and places are being visited to work out the plan of action. Detailed discussions with Youth Congress leaders and members regarding the preparations have been held in various districts, said the PYC President. “It is a march to uphold the principles of unity and integrity of India, and people are eager to receive the leaders undertaking this march”, he added.
Also speaking during the visit IYC Incharge Jammu Kashmir Navneet Kaur said that Congress has made elaborate arrangements under the party leadership for the yatra which is coursing through the nation and will reach Jammu by January. We are visiting various districts to chalk out the logistics for the rally, so that no stone is left unturned for the preparation. Speaking on the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Navneet Kaur stated that this initiative by the Congress party and Sh. Rahul Gandhi reflect on the Congress party’s legacy and continues on the tradition of marching and sacrificing for the unity of the nation. The padyatra is a very difficult yet paying journey that the Congress leaders have committed to plant seeds of harmony across the nation as opposed to the divisive forces prevalent today, said the Youth Congress leader.
IYC Secretary Incharge J&K Amit Pathania also spoke in the meeting saying that people are eagerly waiting for the rally to arrive in Jammu. The party has planned to organise several events during the period and Sh. Rahul Gandhi will address several meetings with the people. This is a massive rally which will go down in history as one of the historic movements. We are preparing well for the upcoming rally and to chalk out the strategies for places where the rally will pass through, he said.
