Yudhvir slams political parties shredding crocodile tears on eviction drive
Says no poor people will be harassed as assured by LG Admin
08-02-2023 : Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President today slammed the Kashmir based mainstream political parties for shredding crocodile tears over the eviction drive initiated by LG led administration in the Union Territory.
While interacting with people during visit to Jagti, the senior BJP leader said the valley based political parties have deprived and deceived the people of Jammu and Ladakh regions for the last 70 years and looted the Government resources for their own good will.
Pertinent to mention here that Yudhvir Sethi today visited Jagti to take stock of problems being faced by the people of the area. On the occasion, Bajalta Mandal President Ajay Sharma, Vice President Pardeep Singh, General Secretary Sunny Sharma, Pritam Thapa SC President, Smt Amita Devi Panch and Shiv Sharma accompanied the senior BJP leader.
Sethi said that both NC and PDP leaders are staging drama and expressing fake sympathies for the people by coming on roads to oppose the eviction drive. He said they have lost their political ground in Jammu and Kashmir and now their encroached properties have also been retrieved by the government which they have not been digesting.
“NC and PDP have lost their credibility and nor the will people trust them anymore over their fake statements and now they should accept the reality and stop acting like chameleons,” Sethi said, adding that the dynastic politics has ended with the abrogation of Article 370. “Abdullahs and Muftis have become hungry for power and looted J&K from the past 70 years to impose their family politics and agenda,” he asserted.
Sethi said the politicians or bureaucrats who have misused their power when in the power have encroached thousands kanals of land all over the erstwhile state and the Government has taken a right step in evicting them and no one should have any problem in this regard. He said the big fish including former Legislators, bureaucrats or land mafia involved in grabbing hundreds Kanals of State of Kachari land should not be spared and bulldozers be used to retrieve this land and evict the land grabbers.
The senior BJP leader also lauded the Lt Governor for giving assurance that those poor people who are eking out their livelihood and are dependent on these five to 15 marlas of State or Kacharai land should not be touched during the ongoing eviction drive.
Sethi asked the people of Jammu and Kashmir to have faith on the government and if anybody having any complaint in this regard that a poor person is being harassed by Revenue officials they should bring it in the notice of party leadership or Government so that action can be taken against such officers or officials.
