2-day Divisional level Kala Utsav 2023-24 concludes at Teacher Bhawan Jammu

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 18: Divisional level Kala Utsav 2023-24, organized by the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ), concluded here today at Teacher Bhawan, Jammu.

Around 200 students from all the ten districts of Jammu division showcased their talent over the last two days.

This was a competitive event in which the winners of district level competitions participated in the divisional level contest in 10 different art forms – Vocal Music (Classical),Vocal Music ( folk),Instrumental Music (Percussion), Instrumental music (Melody ), Dance ( classical),Dance ( Traditional), Visual art (2D),Visual art (3d),Traditional Toys and Games and in Solo Acting category and were judged by a panel of experts that included Dr. Priya Dutta,  Shivani kapoor,  Bindu Sharma,   Pasrshotam Kumar, Raj Kumar Sharma, Dr. Jasmeet Kour, O P Sharma, Anil Saraf,  Jasleen Singh, J R Sagar and Rani Bhan.

Speaking at the valedictory function, Director School Education Jammu, Ashok Sharma congratulated the winners for their performances and at the same wished them good luck for the coming UT level competition.

Everyone who participated in the event was a winner as it was no mean achievement to reach the Division Level Stage, he said.

Amongst others, the event was graced by Joint Director Ms. Subah Mehta, CEO Jammu  Suraj Singh Rathore, DPO Mr Tarlochan Singh and Deputy CEO Jammu.
