J&K to Observe Vigilance Awareness Week Starting October 27
Union Territory gears up for integrity pledge, workshops, and awareness campaigns to promote transparency and accountability
Jammu, Oct 4: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced that Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 will be observed across the Union Territory from October 27 to November 2. This year’s campaign will be held under the theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
The week will commence on October 27 at 11 am with the Integrity Pledge, to be taken by all public servants across government departments, PSUs, autonomous bodies, and other organizations, in line with guidelines issued by the Central Vigilance Commission.
Throughout the week, a series of activities including awareness camps, gram sabhas, workshops, sensitization programmes, and grievance redressal camps will be organized to strengthen transparency, accountability, and preventive vigilance across the Union Territory.
