Srinagar, Oct 13: Jammu and Kashmir BJP President and senior leader Sat Sharma (CA) formally filed his nomination papers on Monday for the Rajya Sabha elections in Srinagar.
Sharma was accompanied by senior BJP leaders and functionaries as he submitted his papers at the office of the Returning Officer, showcasing the party’s organizational strength.
This nomination marks the BJP’s official move to field Sharma as its candidate from the Union Territory in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, following internal party deliberations.
