Congress to protest tomorrow against repeal of MGNREGA

Jammu, Dec 16 :-   Congress party shall hold a strong protest demonstration tomorrow against the removal of the name of father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi by repealing the MGNREGA, which guaranteed 100 days to the poor people in the country

This was disclosed here today by JKPCC Chief Spokesperson  Mr. Ravinder Sharma here today. He said that the Modi Govt has decided to replace the name of Father of the Nation and replace the biggest ever and unique initiative of UPA Govt. headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji under the leadership of UPA Chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi to provide legal guarantee of 100 days of jobs to every labour & poor in the country. This was described as the biggest ever job guarantee legislation in the World.

The proposed move of Modi Govt speaks of the mind set of BJP against the labour and poor people especially an insult to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. The Congress Party shall hold protests all over India in each state and District HQs to oppose this move  and  expose the Modi led BJP Govt and educate the poor and labour class against the attack on their rights. The protest in Jammu shall be held at Shaheedi Chowk Jammu and all districts I J&K UT as per directions of AICC, to hold protest all over the country, he added.
