Ladakh Administration Sets Up UT-Level Committee for Buddha Relics Exposition

Leh, Feb 17: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has set up a UT-Level Coordination Committee to oversee preparations for the proposed Holy Exposition of the Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha in the region.

According to officials, the committee will be responsible for ensuring seamless planning, coordination and execution of the religious event. The panel is expected to streamline arrangements, including logistics, security, venue management and inter-departmental coordination to facilitate the smooth conduct of the exposition.

The move is aimed at organising the spiritually significant event in a structured and efficient manner, given the expected participation of devotees and dignitaries from across the country and abroad.

The administration said that detailed modalities and schedules related to the exposition will be finalised by the committee in due course.
