‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’ Creates History in India With 1 Billion Views

Bilal Abbas Khan–Hania Aamir starrer achieves milestone on YouTube as finale approaches

Islamabad: Pakistani television drama Meri Zindagi Hai Tu has emerged as one of the most popular shows among audiences in both Pakistan and India, with its gripping storyline and strong performances drawing widespread attention.

The drama, directed by Musaddiq Malek, features Bilal Abbas Khan in the role of Kamyaar and Hania Aamir as Dr Ayra. Their on screen chemistry has been widely praised and has played a major role in sustaining high viewer engagement throughout the series.

As the show moves closer to its conclusion, it has achieved a significant milestone by crossing one billion views on YouTube in India. According to reports, it has become the first Pakistani drama to reach this mark while still being on air.

Despite fluctuations in the storyline over time, the drama has continued to maintain strong viewership and impressive ratings, with fans closely following the journey of the lead characters.

The achievement comes despite restrictions on several Pakistani digital platforms in India. Following the Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025, the Indian government banned a number of Pakistani YouTube channels, including those operated by major entertainment networks such as ARY Digital, Har Pal Geo and Hum TV.

To continue reaching audiences, producers from Pakistan’s entertainment industry have launched alternate YouTube platforms where ongoing dramas are uploaded for viewers abroad.

Meri Zindagi Hai Tu is currently being streamed on the “Top Pakistani Dramas” YouTube channel, where it has accumulated more than one billion views, reflecting its continued popularity among Indian viewers.

Meanwhile, the makers have also announced the schedule for the drama’s concluding episodes. The penultimate episode is set to air on March 14, while the grand finale is expected to be broadcast around March 27 or March 28.

So far, 32 episodes have been released, and with the storyline nearing its climax, fans are eagerly waiting to see how the narrative of Kamyaar and Dr Ayra reaches its conclusion.
