PM Modi Set to Address Two Key Election Rallies in Assam Today
Prime Minister to campaign in Dhemaji and Biswanath districts amid tight security arrangements
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address two major public rallies in Assam on Wednesday as part of the ongoing election campaign led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
As per the official schedule, the Prime Minister will begin his campaign tour with a rally in Gogamukh, located in Dhemaji district, at around 11 am. He will then travel to Biswanath district, where he is slated to address another public gathering at approximately 1 pm.
Party insiders indicated that several senior BJP leaders and state ministers will accompany the Prime Minister during both events, underscoring the importance of these constituencies in the electoral landscape.
During his first address, Modi is expected to seek support for candidates Ranoj Pegu and Naba Kumar Doley, who are contesting from Dhemaji and Dhakuakha assembly segments respectively. Later in the day, at the Behali rally, he will campaign for party nominee and former minister Pallab Lochan Das.
Authorities have implemented comprehensive security measures at both venues. Personnel from central security forces along with state police have been deployed to ensure crowd management and the smooth conduct of the rallies, officials confirmed.
