Wipro Consumer to Acquire Good Home and EVA Brands in Rs 256 Crore Deal

Acquisition from TTK Healthcare strengthens Wipro Consumer Care's home and personal care portfolio as the company accelerates growth through strategic brand acquisitions.

New Delhi, July 24: Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has signed definitive agreements to acquire the Good Home and EVA brands from TTK Healthcare for Rs 256 crore, marking another strategic move to strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing home and personal care market.

The transaction, announced on Thursday, represents Wipro Consumer’s 17th acquisition and underscores the company’s long-term strategy of expanding its portfolio through established consumer brands. The deal is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and fulfilment of agreed conditions.

In a regulatory filing, Chennai-headquartered TTK Healthcare stated that the transaction value stands at Rs 256 crore, excluding applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). The company said the divestment forms part of its broader business strategy while ensuring the acquired brands continue their growth under a larger FMCG player.

The two brands generated a combined revenue of Rs 148 crore during FY26, accounting for nearly 17 per cent of TTK Healthcare’s overall turnover. Their strong market presence and loyal customer base make them valuable additions to Wipro Consumer’s expanding portfolio.

Good Home has built a reputation in the household cleaning segment with products such as air fresheners, odour eliminators, drain cleaners and scrubbers. EVA, meanwhile, enjoys strong consumer recognition in the personal care category through its range of deodorants, body sprays, no-gas perfumes, underarm roll-ons and talcum powders.

Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting Chief Executive Officer Kumar Chander said the acquisition aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy and enhances its presence in categories that continue to witness robust consumer demand.

He noted that the addition of Good Home and EVA further strengthens Wipro’s offerings across home and personal care while complementing its existing product portfolio.

The acquisition comes just days after Wipro Consumer Care International announced its purchase of S Brands, a leading personal care company in the Philippines, reflecting the company’s continued focus on expanding both its domestic and international footprint through acquisitions.

Industry analysts believe the latest deal will enable Wipro Consumer to increase its market share in segments that have recorded consistent growth due to rising disposable incomes, greater urbanisation and increasing consumer spending on hygiene and personal wellness products.

For TTK Healthcare, the transaction represents an opportunity to sharpen its focus on its core businesses while transferring two well-established consumer brands to a company with extensive FMCG expertise and wider distribution capabilities.

TTK Healthcare Executive Chairman T.T. Raghunathan said Good Home and EVA have earned the trust of Indian consumers over several years and expressed confidence that Wipro Consumer Care is well equipped to unlock their next phase of growth through its strong brand-building capabilities and nationwide distribution network.

Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting reported revenue of Rs 10,800 crore in FY25-26 and operates across diverse categories, including personal care, home care, electrical switches, lighting solutions, seating products and packaged foods.

The company derives a significant share of its revenue from international operations, with a strong presence across the Middle East, Africa and several emerging markets. Its global footprint has helped diversify earnings while providing opportunities to introduce acquired brands into new geographies.

The acquisition of Good Home and EVA reflects Wipro Consumer’s continued emphasis on strengthening its FMCG business through strategic investments in established brands. With consumer demand for home hygiene and personal care products expected to remain strong, the company aims to leverage its marketing expertise, distribution network and innovation capabilities to accelerate the growth of both brands in the years ahead.
