CBSE Introduces AI-Powered Learning Modules to Strengthen Digital Education

The board launches interactive artificial intelligence resources aimed at enhancing classroom learning and digital skills among students.

New Delhi, Jul 31: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a new set of artificial intelligence-based learning modules to promote digital literacy and make classroom education more interactive. The initiative is designed to help students develop problem-solving, coding and critical thinking skills in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The AI-powered content will be made available through CBSE’s digital learning platform and can be accessed by students and teachers across affiliated schools. The modules include interactive lessons, quizzes, virtual simulations and project based activities that encourage practical application of concepts.

According to board officials, the programme has been developed in collaboration with education technology experts and focuses on age-appropriate learning for students from middle school onwards. Teachers will also receive training to effectively integrate AI tools into classroom teaching.

Education experts believe the initiative will help bridge the digital skills gap and prepare students for emerging technologies. Schools have been encouraged to incorporate the modules into regular academic activities while ensuring responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence.

The move is part of CBSE’s broader efforts to modernise school education and equip students with future ready skills as technology continues to transform the global workforce.
