NHPC Quarters at Jyotipuram declared Micro Containment Zone

REASI, APRIL 22: District Magistrate, Reasi Ajay Kumar Sharma, today declared NHPC Quarters at Jyotipuram as a micro containment zone.

 As per the order, the above-mentioned area shall be under strict lockdown and tight perimeter control, except for essential needs.   There shall be no movement, whatsoever, in and out of the Micro Containment zone. For any medical emergency, individuals can contact 24X7-control Room at No. 01991-245669 and necessary facilitation shall be done. It shall be mandatory for the persons residing in the designated Containment Zone to get themselves tested and any refusal in this regard shall invite action including the filing of FIR under relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act.

The Magistrate and SHO concerned of the area shall ensure that 100% sampling and testing is done.

Tehsildar Reasi shall be the overall in-charge of enforcement of Micro Containment SOP in the notified zones.

The Chief Medical Officer, Reasi shall ensure the deployment of sufficient teams for sampling and surveillance of the designated zones. He shall ensure contact tracing of positives and their testing as per the SOP. AD FCS&CA shall ensure the supply of essential commodities in the Micro Containment

The District COVID Control Room shall monitor strict home and medical isolation of all positives reported from the zones twice on daily basis.

Any violation of this order shall invite punitive action under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
