Shiv Sena J&K unit meets party leaders ahead of All-Party meeting in Kashmir

Shiv Sena J&K unit emphasizes on restoration of statehood and rights of locals in J&K

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) Jammu and Kashmir unit leaders led by Manish Sahni, President Shiv Sena J&K unit today met senior functionaries of the Party at Shiv Sena Bhawan in Mumbai, ahead of the upcoming All Party meeting to be held in Kashmir. Sahni took guidance of Party’s senior functionaries on several serious issues of Jammu division like unemployment, formation of the Minority Commission and rising terrorism.
Sahni said that he has met Party’s National Secretary and MP Anil Desai, Maharashtra’s former Industries Minister and MP Subhash Desai and MP Arvind Sawant and took guidance regarding the current situation of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sahni said that along with the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, the rights of the local people, increasing unemployment and the benefits of the welfare schemes of the Centre to people of all minority communities including Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir and the formation of the Commission instructions have been given.
Besides, Party’s strategy was also considered on the possible visit of top leaders of opposition parties to Jammu and Kashmir after the G-20 meeting to be held in Kashmir on May 23. Sahni said that the leaders have instructed him to go among the people at grassroots level in Jammu and Kashmir to raise his voice on public issues and gear up to participate in all the upcoming elections
