Rahul Gandhi insulted India from foreign soil, must apologize: Ritika Trehan

Jammu: Congress leaders have a habit of maligning the country and putting the blame on others, Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan said on Friday. Rahul Gandhi has maligned India from foreign soil, has spread lies and insulted countrymen. He should apologize. Ritika recalled that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had called Planning Commission members a “bunch of jokers”, while Rahul Gandhi had torn a government ordinance and dubbed it as “nonsense”.
The Congress places “one family” above everyone else, Ritika said and added that “earlier also they used to say ‘Indira is India and India is Indira”.  Ritika said a gentleman tried to school Rahul Gandhi that even Indira Gandhi had refrained from commenting on Indian politics on foreign soil, but the former Congress President did not learn from him.
Calling the remarks of Rahul Gandhi “condemnable”, Ritika said it has become Rahul Gandhi’s habit to go to foreign countries and insult Indian people and institutions, and hurt the confidence of the country.  She said that after “failing miserably” in India, Rahul Gandhi is creating “havoc” in foreign countries. At a time when G20 meetings are taking place in the country, foreign ministers of different countries have come here, Rahul Gandhi is making this kind of statements,” Ritika said.
Ritika further said that  “Rahul Gandhi himself hoisted the tricolour in Kashmir recently during his so called Bharat Jodo Yatra. But he didn’t even once criticised the terror activities in Kashmir. She said that hundreds of people walked with him in Kashmir. But he is forgetting that this was possible only after Article 370 was abrogated by the BJP. We strongly condemn his ridiculous statements and believe that the Indians living abroad will never believe this. India is becoming an economic power under the leadership of PM Modi and the world is praising India’s G20 leadership,” she said.
