Anantnag District Congress Committee holds meeting

Anantnag July 7, 2023. Anantnag District Congress Committee on Friday held threadbare discussions on organizational affairs and activities being undertaken in the district.

Anantnag District Congress Committee in a meeting of prominent Party workers held under the Chairmanship of President Ali Mohd Mantoo had a wide range of discussions over the organizational affairs and activities in the district. Many issues of public importance also came under discussion in the meeting.

The meeting expressed serious concern over the rising unemployment, lack of development, unprecedented price hike and various other issues confronting people in absence of the democratic setup in the country, which is being denied to people by the BJP Govt inorder to rule J&K directly from the Centre.

The meeting reiterated Congress Party’s commitment to continue its struggle for restoration of Statehood to J&K with all constitutional guarantees.

JKPCC Secretary Mohd Iqbal Mir, Zaffar Farooq Salati Vice President DCC Anantnag, Danish Khan secretary Pahari Forum J&K also addressed the meeting urging the Party workers to remain steadfast to work for the benefit of the people and resolution of their problems.
