Municipal Commissioner Visits Shri Amarnathji Yatra Langar, Commends Services Provided
SAYWS President Kiran Wattal Thanks Anil Gupta for his Contributions to the Langar Operations
Jammu, 15-07-2023 : Shri Rahul Yadav, the municipal commissioner, paid a visit to the langar organized by the Shri Amarnathji Yatra Welfare Society (SAYWS). The langar is situated opposite Saraswati Dham at the Railway Station and serves the pilgrims of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra. During his visit, Shri Rahul Yadav interacted with the pilgrims and assessed the facilities provided to them.
Anil Gupta Presents SAYWS Activities to Municipal Commissioner during Langar Visit
To express their appreciation for his visit, the office bearers of SAYWS honored Shri Rahul Yadav and presented him with a photograph of the naturally formed Ice-Lingam of Baba Amarnathji. Shri Hasan and Shri Sanjay Gupta, the president and general secretary of RBBA (names of the organization or association), respectively, accompanied the municipal commissioner during his visit.
Shri Kiran Wattal, the President of SAYWS, expressed his gratitude to all the guests for their visit and provided a brief overview of the society’s activities. He highlighted the commitment of SAYWS in providing services to the pilgrims.
Shri Anil Gupta, the Senior Vice President of SAYWS, emphasized the society’s dedication to maintaining cleanliness at the langar. He mentioned that packaged drinking water bottles were provided to the pilgrims and praised the JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) Commissioner and his department for their round-the-clock service to the pilgrims. Shri Gupta further mentioned that SAYWS successfully operated the langar solely with the support of its office bearers, without relying on any external contributions.
Shri Anil Gupta also shared that approximately 3,000 to 4,000 pilgrims are served langar at the SAYWS venue on a daily basis. He expressed his gratitude to Shri Sanjay Gupta, the president of RBBA, and Shri Amit Goel, the General Secretary of RBBA, for their visit and support.
The event saw the presence of prominent individuals such as Shri Anil Gupta, the Senior Vice-President of SAYWS, Shri Prem Ji, the General Secretary of SAYWS, Kamal Ganjoo, Ashok Sharma Ji, and others. The visit of the municipal commissioner and the appreciation shown by SAYWS for their efforts in serving the pilgrims reflects the dedication and commitment of both organizations in facilitating a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra participants.
