J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, condemns attack on Amarnath pilgrims

19-07-2023 : The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, in an emergent meeting convened today, condemned the attack on the pilgrims on way to Shri Amarnath Ji darshans, as is being circulated on social media. In the meeting chaired by Sh. Vikram Sharma, Senior Advocate, President J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, the members expressed serious concern over an unfortunate incident in which couple of pilgrims reportedly suffered injuries in stone pelting and urged the Administration to ensure safely to the lakhs of pilgrims visiting the Holy Shrine. It was asserted that the omission on the part of law-enforcers shall be viewed seriously, if any. At the same time, the members expressed hope that while safety of pilgrims has to be ensured, yet at the dealt with strictly to make sure that the peace and harmony in the UT of J&K shall not be allowed to be disturbed at any cost.
