Summer Vacations from July 28 to August 6, 2023 from July 28 to August 6, 2023

SRINAGAR, Jul 24 :  The University of Kashmir has officially announced the commencement of summer vacations from July 28, 2023, which will conclude on August 6, 2023. In accordance with this announcement, all teaching departments of the University and its satellite campuses will observe the specified summer vacation period.

As per the official order, the departmental offices will continue to function normally during this vacation period. It is the responsibility of the Heads of the Departments, Directors of Campuses, and Centres to ensure that any scheduled examinations and other academic activities are conducted as per the predefined schedule.

The decision to implement the summer vacation period is intended to provide a much-needed break to students, faculty, and staff, enabling them to rejuvenate and prepare for the upcoming academic term. During this period, the University authorities will also undertake necessary administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution.

While academic activities are paused for the summer vacations, the departmental offices will remain operational to address any administrative matters and to support essential functions. The order emphasizes the importance of adhering to the pre-scheduled examinations and activities to ensure minimal disruption to the academic calendar.
