RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Urges Action on Environmental Protection, Social Harmony, and Family Values
Jammu and Kashmir, October 14, 2023: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief, Mohan Bhagwat, delivered an address at the Samanvah Baithak, attended by over 100 swayamsevaks from 38 organizations affiliated with the RSS, emphasizing the critical importance of safeguarding the environment, promoting social harmony, and reinforcing traditional family values across the nation. Bhagwat, who commenced his three-day tour of Jammu on Friday, highlighted the need for an expanded organizational outreach to disseminate the RSS message to every household. He specifically underlined the importance of strengthening the organization’s network as part of preparations for the forthcoming centenary celebrations of the RSS’s foundation in 2025.
During the Samanvah Baithak, Bhagwat conducted a comprehensive review of the projects initiated by local RSS units, focusing on village development and the rural economy’s enhancement. He also provided valuable suggestions to members engaged in projects for the development of villages and fostering social harmony.
In addition to his interactions with swayamsevaks and organizational leaders, Bhagwat visited the Sewa Bharti hostel at Keshav Bhawan in the city, where he engaged with students. His tour is set to culminate with an address to volunteers in Kathua district on Sunday, further solidifying his vision for the promotion of environmental conservation, social cohesion, and the preservation of traditional family values throughout the country.
