Pooja Grover meets women intellectuals, entrepreneurs under Smart City Conclave programme
Jammu, 15-01-2024 : Jammu and Kashmir BJP Mahila Mocha Spokesperson Pooja Grover visited a number of places in different areas of Jammu City to meet the women working in various fields, who have earned name and fame by their hard work and become self-reliant in the society.
Pooja Grover has been undertaking this exercise for the past few weeks as Incharge of Smart City and Conclave programme of the BJP Mahila Mocha. Under this programme, she has been assigned the task to identify prominent women like retired doctors, professors intellectuals, private entrepreneurs etc and honour them.
Pooja Grover also visited beauty parlours, boutiques run by the women, besides meeting the woman beneficiaries of various welfare schemes of Narendra Modi government.
Pooja Grover, while interacting with the woman of different fields during her meetings with them, shared with them that like other cities, Jammu too is being developed as smart city and the role of women associated with different sectors here, have been splendid, which need to be highlighted by honouring them. She said that smart city does not only mean modern roads, big shopping malls or metro facilities but it should have the population of intellectual class, the self-reliant citizens, job providers, facilities of health care, beauty clinic, gyms etc.
The women actively associated with different fields can well understand the need of keeping their city cleans, make others aware about the importance of planning trees, understake cleanliness of water bodies, religious places etc.
Pooja Grover said that Smart City Conclave exercise is aimed at giving boost to women who have not only established themselves as successful entrepreneurs in different fields but also given employment to other females to help them on earn livelihood. She said that the response of the woman during the exercise has been very positive and each one of them highly appreciated the good governance model of PM Narendra Modi.
