Kavinder releases devotional song Shukrana Satguru Ji

JAMMU: A soulful devotional song titled Shukrana Satguru Ji, by Khwaish Gupta Production released today at a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Ritz Manor, Channi Himmat.
On the occasion, Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K was the Chief Guest, while BJP Chief Spokesperson Mahila Morcha J&K UT, social activist and celebrity makeup artist, Ritika Trehan, and eminent journalist Sohail Kazmi were Guests of Honour. Dr. Urja Singh and Sahil Mahajan were Special Guests. The event was well-attended by prominent citizens, social activists, and music lovers.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta praised the initiative, saying, “Such events bring people closer to their roots and promote spiritual growth.” Observing that music knows no boundaries, he said it binds the people in a unique cord and generates harmony in the society.“And, when music relates to spirituality, it directly touches souls and creates an aura free of tension and hatred”, he said.
Kavinder lauded the efforts of Khwaish Gupta, saying her quest for devotional songs holds a promise to be a leading artist in the near future, “Devotional music quenches the spiritual thirst of devotees”, he said and wished the young singer a bright future. He said music plays pivotal role in preserving culture and taking it beyond boundaries.
Kavinder said the young artists deserve all the encouragement by the organizations associated with promotion of art and culture besides the electronic channels. “The young artist deserves to be encouraged by providing her appropriate opportunity to showcase her talent on a bigger canvass”, he said exhorting Khwaish Gupta to aim high and strive for excellence. He wished her to progress in the chosen field and making the State of Jammu and Kashmir proud. He said the State has no dearth of talent but the only need is to identify and polish it by expert hands. He also hoped that devotional song will inspire young artists of the State to explore their hidden talent and make their niche in the society.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritika appreciated Khwaish Gupta Production for heart touching devotional song, Shukrana Satguru Ji and hoped that devotional song will inspire young artists to explore their hidden talent and make their niche in the society She said language is the identity of any nation, community and ethnicity and therefore we must bequeath our posterity the sweetest and richest mother tongue of their ancestors. She said that the main purpose of devotional song was to motivate and encourage the devotees to adore Satgurus in life.
Ritika praised the artists for devoting their services to the divinity of Satgurus in a melodious composition and hailed the efforts of organizers. She said that in J&K, the devotional songs of Gods and Goddesses are played everywhere during every religious ritual or function whether it is Jagrata, Langar, Seva, Pooja or other religious rituals. She hoped that young singers should reach out to the people through songs about the traditional values and centuries-old heritage of  Jammu city. She also said that the people of J&K should also support and encourage the local artists so that they can also grow and reach new heights.
Ritika further added that the youth of J&K should also participate more in the religious activities and rituals as it will guide them towards an enlightened future and prevent them from going on the wrong track in life and doing illegal activities like drugs and ruining their own lives.
