Chamber of Commerce Sets June 8 for Deferred Biennial Elections Amid Eased Border Tensions

Jammu, 20th May 2025: The Executive Committee meeting was held today under the presidentship of Sh. Arun Gupta is to decide a fresh date for holding the biennial election of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which was deferred in view of the undeclared war between our country and Pakistan. The Executive Committee noted that since the undercurrent of rumour of revocation of ceasefire on 18th May has been denied by our DGMO so there is no obstacles in holding the election. The Executive Committee unanimously fixed Sunday, 8th June, as the date for holding the deferred biennial election.
