Congress neglected Jammu Region for 55 years, BJP committed to development: Arvind

JAMMU, September 22: Arvind Gupta, a BJP candidate for the Jammu West Constituency, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party for its decades-long neglect of the Jammu region, claiming that the Congress failed to prioritize the development and welfare of the people during its 55-60 years in power.

He made these remarks while campaigning in several localities in Jammu West, addressing enthusiastic crowds and highlighting the need for transformative leadership.

Arvind emphasized how the Congress’ policies kept Jammu region underdeveloped and ignored the aspirations of its people, leading to issues such as poor infrastructure, inadequate healthcare, and lack of employment opportunities. “For decades, the Congress only focused on their vote banks while sidelining Jammu’s interests. Their governance left this region behind in terms of development and progress,” said Gupta.

The senior BJP leader praised the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that his government has made Jammu and Kashmir a priority, ensuring large-scale infrastructure development and boosting economic opportunities. “Under Modi Ji’s leadership, Jammu is witnessing unprecedented growth, be it in road connectivity, education, healthcare, or economic empowerment. The long-neglected region is now flourishing,” he added.

Arvind Gupta appealed to the people of Jammu West to vote for the BJP in the upcoming elections to continue this positive momentum of development. “Your vote for BJP is a vote for a prosperous and empowered Jammu. Let’s ensure the region never again faces the neglect it endured for 55 years under Congress rule.”

Arvind Gupta’s campaign has gained momentum as he visited various localities, interacting with residents and receiving widespread support.
