DC Takes Proactive Measures to address Community Concerns Raised in Block Diwas Sessions

  UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai on Saturday spearheaded a pivotal meeting to scrupulously assess the progress made in resolving concerns voiced by PRI members and local residents during the weekly Block Diwas sessions held in different blocks of the District.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh; Additional SP, Anwar-Ul-Haq; DFO, Rushal Garg; Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar; Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Ranjeet Singh Kotwal and the officer of other departments attended the meeting.

 The DC sought department-wise updates from departmental heads regarding action taken in response to the issues raised. She underscored the crucial role of public outreach programs, facilitating swift resolutions by actively engaging relevant departments and providing a comprehensive status check on ongoing developmental projects.

The DC emphasized the paramount importance of inter-departmental coordination and the active involvement of PRI members in resolving matters. She issued unequivocal directives to concerned officers, urging them to prioritize and expedite the resolution of outstanding issues raised by both PRIs and the general public.

The  DC directed the concerned officers to ensure that all issues raised by PRI members and the general public during Block Diwas held in different blocks of the district are resolved as early as possible. This proactive approach demonstrates a commitment to addressing community concerns and fostering efficient governance.
