DLSA Udhampur organizes webinar on safeguards against Corona

UDHAMPUR, MAY-20:- District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Udhampur, Thursday organized a webinar  “Covid-19 Pandemic its safeguard and preventive measures under the Chairpersonship of Rajni Sharma, ( Sub Judge)  Secretary  DLSA Udhampur, here at the District Court Complex.

Besides Judicial officers, Bar members, PLVS, and officials participated in the camp.

Speaking on the occasion, resource person,  Retainer Lawyer, Advocate  Pawan  Gupta made people aware about the COVID-19 pandemic and advised them to take precautions as per advisories issued by the Government, particularly in view of the spike in positive cases in the district. He further advised the people to wear masks, wash hands with soap, use hand sanitizers and maintain social distance out of home as well as entering in the court premises, besides interacting with staff.

He added COVID-19 is spreading in the shape of waves in the community, and people need to stay safe by taking these simple precautions.

He appealed to the participants to take vaccination at the scheduled time to develop strong immunity and also motivate awareness among the poor and illiterate for the same so that they may not get trapped under dogmas and superstitions. He also gave various tips on stress management among children, elderly persons, and those who are fighting this battle from the front.

 The keynote address was followed by a question-answer session wherein the participants raised queries pertaining to stress amid Covid-19. The resource person very aptly responded to all the questions.
