Dogra Law Students Excel at National Moot Court, Earn Second Place Among 30 Prestigious Institutions

04th November 2025, Bari Brahmana, Samba: Dogra Law College proudly announces that its students have brought laurels to the institution by securing the Runner-Up (Second Position) at the 6th Late Sh. Thakur Kashmir Singh Memorial National Moot Court Competition, held at Himachal Pradesh University Institute of Legal Studies, Shimla from 31st October and 1st November 2025. The prestigious event witnessed participation from 30 teams representing reputed law institutions across India.

The representing team from Dogra Law College Autonomous comprised Manya Sehgal, Ananya Duggal, and Simran Sharma, of BA LL.B 5year 9th Semester who demonstrated exceptional advocacy skills, in-depth legal research, and persuasive courtroom arguments throughout the competition. Their performance received high praise from the panel of judges and fellow participants.

The competition witnessed Rayat Bahra Himachal Pradesh Law College securing the first position, while Dogra Law College earned a commendable second place, reflecting its rising prominence on the national landscape of legal education.
