Dr. Rameshwar raises key development issues of Bani with Cabinet Ministers

Srinagar, 23-10-2024: MLA Bani, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, held a series of meetings with Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chaudhary, Health and Education Minister Sakina Itoo, Minister for Forests Javed Rana, Minister for Jal Shakti, Javid Ahmad Dar, and Minister for Food Supplies and Transport at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.

During the meetings, Dr. Rameshwar highlighted several critical issues faced by the people of the Bani Constituency. Key concerns raised included improving healthcare infrastructure, road connectivity, public transport, and addressing the shortage of ration in local stores. He also emphasized the need for the enhancement of ration scales for the local population.

On the education front, Dr. Rameshwar advocated for the inclusion of Medical and Commerce streams in the Government Degree College (GDC) Bani and the establishment of a new Degree College in Lohai Malhar to cater to the educational aspirations of students in the region. Additionally, he stressed the urgent requirement for installing ATMs in both Lohai Malhar and Bani to improve access to banking services.

A major concern discussed with Health Minister Sakina Itoo was the shortage of specialist doctors at CHC Bani, particularly the need for a gynecologist and an ultrasound specialist. Responding swiftly, the Minister directed the Health Department to address the issue immediately.

All Cabinet Ministers assured Dr. Rameshwar that the issues raised would be addressed on a priority basis, with resolutions expected shortly.

Dr. Rameshwar reaffirmed his commitment to working tirelessly for the welfare of the Bani Constituency, ensuring that all concerns are resolved in a timely manner.
