India, May 03 : India’s nationwide mobile alert drill highlighted the growing role of technology in emergency response management.

Technology experts explained that the Cell Broadcast System enables authorities to instantly send alerts to millions of devices without requiring internet access or individual phone numbers.

Officials said the system could become vital during earthquakes, cyclones, terrorist attacks, and industrial disasters. Cybersecurity teams also monitored the drill to ensure network stability and prevent misuse.
