Jammu Chamber of Commerce and industry (CCI) extending help to poor and needy amid Covid-19 crisis

03-06-2021 : Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Jammu, continued its initiatives under social responsibility by providing relief material which includes dry ration, Juice, etc. among the poor and needy people in the ongoing pandemic.

The ration was distributed among the needy people on behalf of CCI by Mayor JMC Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta, Dy. Mayor Ms. Purnima Sharma, SP South Sh. Deepak Digra, DYSP Mr. Parshotam Mengi, Corporator Sh. Parmodh Kapahi and Sh. Vinay Gupta District President BJP.

Sh. Arun Gupta, President CCI  while reiterating the commitment of the Chamber towards social responsibility said that the Chamber is working relentlessly in this direction by providing various facilities to the needy people in the ongoing pandemic situation.

Gupta said that the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been extending full support and cooperation to the J&K Union Territory administration by standing with it in fighting the crucial battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. He said every individual in the business and industry sector stands with the people especially with the needy and poor section of the society fulfilling their essential requirements in the present situation. He said that the CCI shall make every effort to ensure that none sleeps hungry in this crisis situation.

Mr. Gupta also said that the Covid-19 pandemic has not gone yet and the people should follow SOPs regarding Covid-19 and bear masks, wash hands and keep social distance.
