Jammu’s Shifali Jamwal Wins Mrs. Universe America, to Represent USA in World Pageant

JAMMU, Nov 13: Shifali Jamwal, a native of Jammu, was crowned Mrs. Universe America 2024 in a dazzling pageant held in Seattle today. Her unwavering commitment to sustainability, environmental conservation, and community development resonated with audiences and judges alike, distinguishing her as a leader with a vision for a greener future.

The event, organized by AmPowering.org in Renton, Washington, celebrated Shifali’s dedication to causes that extend beyond beauty, with her advocacy for environmental stewardship and social upliftment at the forefront. Speaking after her win, Shifali described herself as a “child of the planet,” emphasizing her desire for a future where humanity coexists harmoniously with nature. “My dream is to leave a lasting impact so that future generations can enjoy a green planet, breathe clean air, and drink pure water,” she said.

Shifali co-founded Live2Serve, a nonprofit organization that champions environmental consciousness while also focusing on the welfare of marginalized communities, including children and animals. With the title of Mrs. Universe America under her belt, Shifali will represent the United States in the World Mrs. Universe pageant, set to take place in the Philippines next year.
