JKHCBAJ  Condemns Terrorist Attacks, Issues Strong Message to Pakistan

Jammu, 09-07-2024:  The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ) held a protest today at the District Court Complex, condemning the recent spurt in terrorist attacks in UT of J&K in general and Jammu Division in particular. The protest was lodged by a large number of Bar members who stood united in expressing their solidarity with the families of the brave heart soldiers who attained martyrdom laying down their lives in service of nation. The lawyers raised slogans denouncing the proxy war by Pakistan. The premises reverberated with the ‘Bharat mata ki Jai’ Slogans.

In his address, Vikram Sharma, Senior Advocate, the President of JKHCBAJ, and issued a strong message to Pakistan, stating, that “Pakistan should stop playing this hide and seek. He said that Pakistan has no guts, for a  face to face war with India and our brave Indian army can take over the entire Pakistan in no time.

He further emphasized that Pakistan must cease its state-sponsored terrorism, which it has pursued to hide its status of a ‘Failed Nation’. “We request the Government of India to extend our borders not just to reclaim our  Jammu and Kashmir territories but to extend the borders all the way to Afghanistan, to obliterate Pakistan from the map of the globe,” he added.

The President and members also paid rich tributes to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of their duty. “We salute our martyrs and their unparalleled bravery. The entire nation stands with their families in this time of grief and loss” said the President.

General Secretary Parvesh Singh Salaria added, “We strongly condemn these cowardly attacks on our soldiers. Pakistan’s support for terrorists cannot be ignored, and the international community must hold them accountable. We urge the government to ensure our soldiers’ safety and call on the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain united.”

Utkarsh Pathania, Treasurer JKHCBA called upon the civil society to remain united to flop the nefarious Pakistan design of unleashing proxy war upon India. He said “Every single martyrdom shall infuse a resolve in every single Indian to defeat Pakistan.

The JKHCBAJ reiterated its commitment to supporting the government in its efforts to combat terrorism and ensure the safety and security of all citizens. The Association called for a united stand against terrorism and urged the international community to hold Pakistan accountable for its actions. The office bearer of YLA led by Rohit Sharma and S. Gagandeep Singh Lucky also participated and addressed the Media after paying rich tributes to the martyrs.
