06-06-2023 : On the second day of his visit to the city of temples, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Development and Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dr. Hardeep Singh Puri, addressed massively attended “Sanyukt Morcha Sammelan” at Kullian in RS Pura constituency. Dr. Puri was accompanied by MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, District President Rekha Mahajan, Seh-Prabhari Adv. Dev Raj, Dy. Mayor Baldev Billawaria, Prof. Gharu Ram, former MLC Vikram Randhawa, Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Akash Chopra, Pushpinder Charak, and other senior leaders of the party. All the Morchas of the party with their teams attended the Sammelan.
The programmes were organized under the leadership of BJP District President Rekha Mahajan.
More programmes of RS Pura, Arnia and Bishnah Municipal Committee were organized in which Dr. Puri listened to the demands of the MC members and assured that Modi government is committed to provide all the basic amentias to the public and for the purpose the ULBs will be provided best infrastructure. MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Minister Sham Choudhary, Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, DDC Vidya Motan, District President Rekha Mahajan, Dy. Mayor Baldev Bilawaria, accompanied Dr. Puri during the visits.
The Union Minister, while addressing the Sammelan, said that the BJP has grown into a big banyan tree and that it has become possible only due to the support of all sections of society. The BJP has different Morchas in its organizational structure, and they have a platform to highlight the plight and problems of their communities.
Dr. Puri said that the Modi government, during its nine years, has taken care of every section and framed different schemes aimed at real welfare and upliftment of the poor and needy. In return, these people too have responded and contributed to making the BJP the world’s largest political party, leaving behind China’s Communist Party. He stressed upon the party activities to maintain direct contact with all the sections and apprise them of every such scheme that is being launched from time to time in the future too.
At Shree Gurudwara Sahib in Gandhi Nagar, Dr. Puri was accorded a warm welcome by District Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee President and his team. He, while interacting with the members of the Sikh community gathered there, told that the government at the Centre under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a number of decisions aimed at mitigating the sufferings of the community and ensuring dignified life. He said that opening of KartarPur corridor has been one of the major gift of the Modi government to the Sikh community, adding that the holy Shree Guru Granth Sahib was brought to India with full religious honour by the government from Afghanistan and organized Kirtan by 300 Raagis to celebrate 400 years of Prakash Utsav of 9th Guru Shree Teg Bahadur Singh ji.
Dr. Puri was accompanied by MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former MLCs Vikram Randhawa & S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, District President Rekha Mahajan, District Seh-Prabhari Vinay Gupta, senior leader Sanjay Baru, also visited Shree Gurudwara Sahib in Gandhi Nagar area.
