Shri Rahul Sahai, Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Jammu Chapter, called on Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhawan Srinagar today.
During the meeting, Rahul Sahai discussed several important matters concerning the trade, commerce, and industrial landscape of the Union Territory. He apprised the Hon’ble LG about the current challenges being faced by industries in the Jammu region and also shared suggestions for accelerating industrial growth, improving Ease of Doing Business (EoDB), and strengthening public-private partnership models.
Rahul Sahai emphasised the need for robust implementation of industrial policies, timely disbursement of incentives, greater infrastructure support, and smoother regulatory clearances. He also acknowledged the proactive role played by the UT Government and administration in fostering a business-friendly environment, and appreciated the continuous efforts being made to enhance connectivity, streamline governance, and attract investments.
Sahai applauded for efforts done for smooth Amarnath Yatra and tourism revival.
The Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to the points raised by Rahul Sahai and assured continued support to the industry and business community.
