Rajouri Bus Accident: 15 Passengers Injured in Overturning Incident
Victims rushed to GMC Associated Hospital as rescue efforts were launched by locals at the accident site.
RAJOURI/JAMMU, Jun 8: At least 15 people sustained injuries after a passenger bus overturned near Tandwal on the Rajouri–Manjakote route on Monday, officials said.
The vehicle was travelling towards Manjakote from Rajouri when it met with the accident along the highway. Soon after the incident, local residents reached the spot and assisted in the rescue operation.
All injured passengers were shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC)-Associated Hospital in Rajouri for treatment. Officials said the condition of the injured is being monitored, while the circumstances leading to the accident are being ascertained.
