Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief’s Visit to Union Territory – Assessing Organizational Growth and Social Initiatives
Jammu, 10-10-2023 : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to embark on a significant three-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir, commencing on October 13, as announced by the organization in a statement released on Tuesday. This visit to the Union Territory is part of a broader initiative by RSS leaders to assess and oversee the functioning of the organization across the country.
During his visit, Bhagwat will preside over a workers’ meeting on October 14, dedicated to evaluating the organization’s operations within the Union territory and its various social upliftment initiatives. Furthermore, a coordination meeting is scheduled for the following day, during which the RSS chief will address a gathering of volunteers in the Kathua district.
The RSS, an influential Hindu nationalist organization, is set to commemorate its 100th anniversary in 2025, and discussions pertaining to the strategies and goals for its expansion are expected to be a key focus during Bhagwat’s tour of Jammu and Kashmir. This visit underscores the organization’s commitment to strengthening its presence and influence in the region.
